Well This is Something Different...

Thanks to a rather happy email I received last Friday, I've started to pour into the work for my first comic book script!  I say first; I've written a couple of them in the past, but nothing ever came of them.  This time though; the ideas have matured and there's an artist pretty excited to take a stab and penciling the panels.   We'll call this the first real attempt.

What I haven't done before is story boards.  They're pretty handy, especially if you're a writer that can't draw to save his life! (Note:  Just like me!)  The world of comics falls into various panels of various sizes and while trying to map these out to describe to your artist, it's easy to get muddled.  In the past, I always worked with out the story boards and I became frustrated often.  After some initial experiments, i'm pretty happy with how's it's working out.

So someday in the future?  You might find yourself with a glossy full color copy of "Blood Hound" that will wow you and impress you and maybe give you a few chills!  For now though, you'll just have to live with my stick figures and such!
